We are thrilled to announce that we received a grant earlier this year to help us fund the updating of our original 1950’s electrical panel in the main building of the school. This electrical upgrade will take place in July 2023 and will allow us to enhance the technology landscape in our classrooms.

Our 2023 Building Futures Fund-A-Need will support updating our current projector-cart based system with Boxlight MimioPro 4 Interactive Panels. These award winning interactive panels feature touch screens and the ability to stream up to 9 mobile devices at any time, increasing teacher and student engagement in the classroom. Designed for icloud workspaces, the MimioPro 4 compliments our current google classroom set up and includes additional apps that inspire all learners at every grade level. These apps will allow us to bring lessons to life, with the capability to integrate art, music, language, science and movement into every classroom creating a direct positive impact on every single St. Joseph student now and for years to come!

At an estimated cost of $5,000 per panel per classroom (includes installation, professional development staff training, and contingency funds) our campus goal is to raise $150,000 total to support this project. Raising the funds for this transformative project is an ambitious task but we are filled with hope knowing the generosity of our St. Joseph Cardinal Community.
